At Ronald McDonald House South Texas, we help families stay close to the care and support their children need. Through our programs in Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley, we provide comfort, resources, and compassionate support to families navigating their child’s healthcare journey.
Families are never asked to pay for the services we provide. Everything we offer is provided free of charge, helping ease some of the everyday burdens families face so they can focus on what matters most – being there for their child.

Private Guestrooms
We offer 33 guestrooms with two full beds and a private bath. Cribs are available upon request. Wheel-chair accessible rooms are also available. There is a maximum of 4 people per guestroom – this includes an infant or child.
Daily Meals
Generous community groups participating in our Share-A-Meal Program occasionally provide delicious home-cooked meals in our dining room. Our guests may also prepare their own meal in the family kitchen, using their own food or items kept in our well-stocked pantry.
Laundry Facilities
We offer a fully-stocked in-house laundry room for your convenience, at no cost to families
Activities for Parents and Siblings
The House offers both inside and outside play areas for kids of all ages. Our volunteers and staff provide crafts, games, movie nights, our House dog, and seasonal celebrations for all of the children to enjoy… and the adults too!

Located on the 3rd Floor East Tower, the Harlingen Ronald McDonald Family Room offers a place for families with hospitalized children to rest and regroup away from the medical environment. We offer a kitchen, snacks, showers, toiletries, napping room, charging station, television, and work station.

In partnership with Su Clinica, this children’s health care mobile unit travels directly into communities where children and families face barriers to accessing regular healthcare. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile offers vital services such as preventative dental care, health education, and referrals. You can find the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile stationed at schools, Head Start programs, community centers, housing authorities, and various locations in the Rio Grande Valley ensuring that children and families can receive care right where they live and learn.
